Inventario 02: Everything is a Project.
Inventario 02: Everything is a Project.
Inventario 02 features articles on toys of the wind with works by Christo and Jeanne Claude (the Running Fence), the sculptures of Eduardo Chillida in San Sebastian, a wind tower by Bruno Munari, a wind shaped pavilion by Michael Jantzen, the Curtain Wall House by Shigeru Ban, the wind-blown beach skeletons by Theo Jansen, and the wind machines by Martin Creed. Also an article on the famous tightrope walker Philippe Petit who on August 7 1974 stretched a cable between the twin towers of the WTC and walked across the steel line. Francesco Garutti writes on the late Polish/Romanian artist André Cadere known for his 'Barres de Bois Rond' (coloured wooden sticks he walked around with), the New Masters section features Fernando & Humberto Campana with examples of their work. The issue ends with a curious collection of the Italian 'tricolore' flags by a.o. Elmgreen & Dragset in true Lucio Fontana style, Corrado Levi, Gaetano Pesce, Ugo La Pietra, and Marco Ferreri. English/Italian.
