AV Monograph 146: Nieto & Sobejano 1999-2011.
NIETO SOBEJANO. Fernandez-Galiano, Luis, ed.
AV Monograph 146: Nieto & Sobejano 1999-2011.
An intense work developed from their studios in Madrid and Berlin, six large built works and another six currently nearing completion, testify to the importance of these last twelve years in the professional career of Fuensanta Nieto and Enrique Sobejano. A trip from the north to the south of Spain allows Richard Ingersoll to introduce the issue with a critical analysis of the complete oeuvre of the architects. Projects include the La Luz Castle in Las Palmas, the Madinat al-Zahra Museum near Cordoba, the San Gregorio Museum in Valladolid, the Moritzburg Museum in Halle, the new folding roof of the Kastner & Ohler department store in Graz, the San Telmo Museum in San Sebastian, the Congress Center in Zaragoza, the Contemporary Art Center in Cordoba, the Joanneum Museum in Graz, an intervention in the old Barcelo Market area in Madrid. Spanish/English.
